Norooz marks the arrival of spring and a new beginning, when families gather, share meals, and welcome the new year with hope. This year, many families across Iran are entering the season while facing hardship and uncertainty. Through our Noroozaaneh Campaign,
Moms Against Poverty is helping families in the Tehran Province celebrate with dignity.

Our team on the ground in Iran is preparing and distributing Norooz food packages. Each $100 food package provides essential staples and traditional holiday sweets, helping families share meals and welcome the new year together. For families navigating difficult circumstances, these packages offer more than food. They offer relief, nourishment, and the reminder that they are not alone.

As we carry this work forward, we remain in full compliance with our specific OFAC license as we continue our operations.

Moms Against Poverty has an established Iran-facing executive arm, Nikgaman Jamshid Charity, for the purpose of implementing our projects in Iran. Nikgaman and our teams work closely to manage all of our projects in Iran on behalf of Moms Against Poverty and our donors. Moms Against Poverty continues to use legal channels for transfer of funds raised in the U.S. to Nikgaman Jamshid Charity in compliance with OFAC rules and regulations.
